The Ecommerce Economic Defense Initiative was an online contest wrapped in a fanciful conceit. The idea was that the prizes being offered were actually grants from a coalition of web professionals that had gathered together to heal the economy through the power of online commerce.
I was responsible for everything you see on this page, from concept to completion. Design, copy, illustration – all me. And while I’m tooting my own horn, please note that I animated the video below frame by frame (using Illustrator & Photoshop) and assembled it in Final Cut using public domain audio that I sourced and edited. From start to finish, it took two weeks.
(My favorite part of the whole video is the Esperanto subtitles because everything should have Esperanto subtitles in anticipation of the day wherein the universal language eventually catches on, which is almost assuredly nigh.)
Below, an infographic and some designs from a series of pro-ecommerce propaganda posters that I created for the campaign.
